Sarah Geronimo: "No Comment" Regarding Cristine Reyes Tweets

During Mega Star's birthday celebration concert Sarah was cornered by the press, finally, after a long long time of avoiding the cameras for ambush interviews she was caught on cam. 

She was asked of her reaction to Mega Sharon Cuneta defending her during the Cristine Reyes-Sarah Geronimo rift. She expressed how happy she was hearing how Mega Star Sharon stood for her despite not knowing her entirely.

When she was asked if she would be willing to make peace with Cristine this 2011, she commented about New Year, new things... but when asked regarding Cristine's tweet Sarah opt to shut her mouth about it and smile and wave away from the press, very decent girl. =)

Cristine Reyes and Sarah G Rift--Whom To Blame?

My take on the story, the culprit in this rift between the two girls would be Cristine's current boyfriend Rayver Cruz. The guy was the one who delivered Sarah G's comment to Cristine that irked her and made her throw baseless disparaging remarks at Sarah G.


Rayver did an interview on D'Buzz, last December 19 2010 and admitted being the person behind telling Cristine about Sarah's remark which in the first place was not meant for Rayver but for Sarah's good friend and good dancer John Prats, but being a baby Rayver assumed Sarah was referring to him text-ed Cristine told her Sarah's joke and probably added and twisted bits of information along the way.


Rayver should be man enough to apologize for what he did and QUIT pleading what he did was right. In no sane person's perspective would that be right. He could have first approached Sarah, clear things with her instead of asking for his girlfriend to back him up.


He should have learned something from this incident but NO. When Sharon Cuneta talked to him to fetch things up and make things right, he probably told Cristine about it once again and the latter started attacking Sharon Cuneta as well.


Rayver should learn to keep things to himself and settle things for himself and stop asking for his girlfriend to back him up. He is so lame.

When Will Sarah Geronimo Break Her Silence?

Almost two weeks after the issue between Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes’ bashing remarks on twitter about the Pop Princess, the former had not spoken regarding the issue. Sarah has not broken her silence in defense of herself in this complex issue. What makes this rift controversial? It is the reality that big names are being dragged into the rift between these two Kapamilya stars.

One can understand why Sarah G opted for silence despite other actors and actresses speaking in her defense. Despite not insinuating anything, the comment started from her side although she has no intention whatsoever to offend anyone.

The simple friendly joke meant for her good friend, actor-dancer John Prats was interpreted by the other party Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz as something offensive. Instead of confronting Sarah about her comment, he preferred to text Cristine Reyes.

The comment irked Cristine which made her bash Sarah on twitter. Despite Rayver's coming out of the issue and breaking his silence and with the apology of Cristine Reyes on her twitter account (which doesn’t seem like an apology to some), Sarah had kept her cool and would rather let the issue die without letting any real hurtful comment to the other party.

Of course a lot of people would like to hear Sarah’s side of the story although it is clear enough that it was a simple misunderstanding and misinterpretation.
