Azkals in LEYTE

Well, last week 2 Azkal members were in Tacloban City, Leyte. Not to vacation but to promote football as a sport. I don't have any inside scoop as I didn't learn of their supposed to be training here in Tacloban in time. I just saw it in the news. They were at Grandstand Tacloban last Friday. I'll be damned. :( It was a good time for me to get a one on one interview with the 2 boys. Will post the names later as they were Italian in sound and I can't remember their names ATM. LOL

Update: One of the two players in Tacloban was Ángel Guirado.

Azkals Update: Team Azkals in Tacloban, Going Ormoc

As always I am always late when it comes to Azkals update. They were in Tacloban yesterday, their Azkals bus was seen roaming the town. According to a friend they gave out fliers or something to sports facilities and sports groups in town to promote Football to youngster who have potentials to be great football players. Or it could be Dan Palami's promise of handing out relief support and operation for the victims of calamities in Tacloban City.

James Younghusband was here, but no one has seen his brother Phil Younghusband. Hmmm.. Hateful. I could have bothered James for a lil interview. Just too bad.

At the moment as sources says, the team is on their way to Ormoc to promote football. I hope they'll be able to find good talents for football.
