Speculations have been circulating that Melai will be history by 2011. Speculations that just as how fast she rose to fame, the same will be her fall but Melai proved these speculations wrong. She is MEGA Magazine's face of the month and she is looking very elegant and sophisticated on the cover of the magazine.
Melissa continues to surprise her fans with great transformations, although she is being bombarded with issues at the moment. Issues regarding her relationship with boyfriend Jason and her controversial burning of Mr. Fu's photo in one Banana Split episode. She continues to stay humble and be loved by the mass audience.
