Melai Cantiveros MEGA Magazine's Covergirl for January

Speculations have been circulating that Melai will be history by 2011. Speculations that just as how fast she rose to fame, the same will be her fall but Melai proved these speculations wrong. She is MEGA Magazine's face of the month and she is looking very elegant and sophisticated on the cover of the magazine.

Melissa continues to surprise her fans with great transformations, although she is being bombarded with issues at the moment. Issues regarding her relationship with boyfriend Jason and her controversial burning of Mr. Fu's photo in one Banana Split episode. She continues to stay humble and be loved by the mass audience. Hopefully, she continues to be just like this in the years to come.

Jewel Mische Certified Kapamilya

Jewel Mische was a GMA-7 talent, 2007 Starstruck winner and known as the Ultimate Sweetheart of her batch. She does have this sweet angelic face, she even talks sweet. From being a GMA-7 starstruck winner she moved to ABS-CBN just this November 2010. She was given a MMK episode with Baron Geisler on January 1, 2011, and graced Tito Boy's first interview on the buzz for 2011. Cool, what a way to start the year.


I have not seen her shows in GMA-7 as I don't really watch shows in the afternoon and only watch selected few during the evening. I only watch talk shows like Startalk, The Buzz and E-Live! when I have the time. So seeing her first project in ABS-CBN her MMK episode, it was interesting good, the girl has potentials. 


She is currently under Star Magic acting workshop for her role in Kristine's Book 2 this 2011. She will be paired with Gerald Anderson as well this year. Hopefully, KIMERALD fans would welcome the tandem.


Let us see if she progress and  blooms into a KAPAMILYA Princess...

MMFF Entry-Si Agimat At Si Enteng Kabisote 2010

Our aunt treated us to watch a movie last Friday, she came from Malaysia and wanted to watch some of the MMFF entries the whole town have been buzzing about. We went to watch the box office hit Si Agimat at Si Enteng. It was for kids alright, my 6 year old nephew enjoyed watching this movie. Definitely main stream kind of film and very typical Filipino theme movie.

The effects we're okay and  the tandem definitely worked out, but it was more of a funny spoof or slapstick fantasy comedy film. No story to follow, not really making sense just pure entertainment. The leading ladies of the two we're good, but I especially liked Sam Pinto. She is bloody gorgeous.


Well, we liked it because our nephew liked it, hahaha. We watched it for the sake of having an entertaining movie experience, and the film delivered. Congratulations to Senator Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto for another certified box office hit, Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote. =)

MMFF Entries-Super Inday and the Golden Bibe

Reading the gross result for MMFF entries, I noticed that Marian's Super Inday is far from the top 3 list and outside top 5, even defeated by RPG Metanoia in the gross list. I tell you I am not surprised, somehow I saw it coming. The storyline is not interesting and childish. Her acting is too much, almost overacting.


People are probably fed up of seeing Marian on the screen (cause I am), and GMA7 had been showcasing and giving Marian left and right projects it is disgusting. What happened to Captain Barbell meets Darna? 


Anyhow, let us just wait, maybe her movie will enter top  3. HaHa!

Cristine Reyes and Sarah Geronimo Patched Things Up-Ara Mina

According to Cristine Reyes' older sister Ara Mina on an interview, the rift between Sarah and Cristine had been settled amicably. Though names have been dragged along the issue, the rift has been talked about by both parties. 

Probably have met an understanding and stop the issue from further becoming a laughing stock as well as dragging other names into the problem. This started from a simple friendly joke to John Prats gone bad. 

Cristine explained her side of the story to Sarah and the latter explained her side as well. Everything ended well. Of course, we can’t be certain until Sarah speaks her mind and clarify things to the public. Hopefully thing will end up in the best interest of both.
